journal. thoughts. stories that didn't make it to the newspaper.

I don’t know how or why it happens, but my weekends always have whirlwinds in them.

Two weekends ago, I attacked this giant burger with Debbie.

Hello Debbie!

After the burgers, I went cruising on a yacht with Ms. M.

(photos by Bob Mata)

This party boat felt like a movie: people clinking champagne glasses and all that jazz. There were no thugs or secret agents, though (because that’s how the movie usually goes right? Some fancy people from the high society get mobbed by secret agents or something like that. Whatever).

Here’s another photo of me looking fancy. The party’s theme was Mardi Gras, and everyone was required to wear fancy beaded necklaces and some masks.

That’s me (and my shirt which keeps on showing up in my Facebook; trust me, I don’t wear it everyday).

And Ms. M and Ms. Maya.

And dinner. I popped billions of maki in my mouth. I swear.

These cookies are such monsters; deceiving and extremely sweet. I ate these while watching everyone get amused by dancers and fireworks.

At another weekend, my friends and I (yes, I have friends. yey!) had a sleepover. Again. In the same dormitel.

We—err, they played Monopoly,

While I fiddled with this stack of plastic—because I hate math.

Earlier that day, I remember joining a photography workshop with AB. But I don’t have pictures with me right now. So, yeah.

I’m bracing myself for another weekend, which will start at 6 p.m. tonight. Is it going to be fun? YES!
