Spotted: the city mayor in Power Mac Center at Abreeza. She was there for the opening of the first branch of the premium Apple reseller in Davao.
The sleek button down white top that she wore made her blend easily with the disciples of Steve Jobs. After the unveiling of the store, she walked inside with Power Mac’s executives. They awarded prizes for the day’s early bird and the store’s first customer.
We probably caught her fancy some gadgets, which is pretty normal (who doesn’t want any device from Apple anyway?).
Minutes later, we lost visual contact. Customers and Apple fans started to flock in the store: some were trying out the devices, others were busy choosing what accessory to buy, while a couple of folks were already lining up the counter to pay for their purchases.
We scanned the store and spotted the city mayor again. We wanted to feed our curiosity: what Apple device does she have?
More importantly, does she play Cut the Rope? Or is she loyal to the Angry Birds?
